the world, is in itself a neutral medium, that only gains meaning through the intention of the self. It is not inherently meaningful, but receives its coloring through the goals the self pursues, in other words, the world becomes what the self makes of it. Everything we perceive in the world depends on what we project into it.

The perception and interpretation of the world are always dependent on the goals the self has set for itself. In this process, the self moves from one world to another, depending on the perception it maintains at a given moment. The world becomes a tool for self-confirmation. By shaping the world according to its own ideas, the self repeatedly recognizes aspects of itself. And at some point, the self realizes that the constructions it has created cannot bring the true experience it is searching for.

The world, as the self creates it, remains essentially empty and meaningless, unless the self assigns it meaning. A self that continues to cling to the meaning of the world can hardly free itself from the illusion that the world has something to offer it.

The path to becoming the true self leads through the letting go of the self-constructed self-concept that was projected onto the world. Only when the self realizes that the world is inherently meaningless can it stop using it as a means of self-confirmation. This realization occurs when the self understands that the path to true self-realization does not lead through the external world, but into inner experience. As long as the self clings to its constructions, it remains bound to the world and continues to seek fulfillment there, which it cannot find.

The process of self-realization is not about changing or fighting the world. The world remains what it is and the only change that must take place is within the self. The moment the self lets go of its ego and stops depending on the world, it begins to view the world without judgment. In this state of selflessness, no longer attached to the outward appearances of the world, a state of inner peace arises. This state is the true form of freedom, which is not defined by external circumstances.

The world as we know it is a manifestation of our inner construct. The external conflict experienced in the world is always a reflection of the inner struggles of the self. As long as the self clings to the illusion of separation, the world will be perceived as separate and conflict will persist. But when the self releases the illusion of separation and returns to unity, the world also loses its apparent contradictions and divisions. The world then no longer appears hostile or rejecting, but as a mirror of inner harmony.

The freedom of the self is the freedom from its own constructions, concepts, and judgments. It is about transforming the perception of the self. When the self lets go of its identity and attachments, it becomes free from the need to seek recognition and validation in the world. The world we perceive is only an illusion seen through the eyes of the ego and when the ego is released, the world appears in a different light—as a place of possibilities where true encounter and communication can happen.

The search for fulfillment in the world is a process of deception that can only increase confusion and thirst for more. The true thirst can only be quenched from the inner source of the self. This source is the origin of all fulfillment and the wellspring of true peace. Only by returning to this inner origin can the self find the deep calm and satisfaction that it cannot find in the world. And once the self recognizes this inner peace, it stops seeking validation in the world.

Instead, it becomes a peaceful observer of the world, no longer influenced by external events. In this state of selflessness, the self becomes an open channel for life, experiencing it in its purest form. It realizes that the world no longer shows separation, but that everything it experiences is an expression of the one, undivided life.

The freedom of the self is the freedom from the world of separation and illusion. It lies in the return to unity, in which all that is, is one.

In this realization, the world is perceived as an extension of one’s own self. The path of self-realization leads to the return to unity. Only by letting go of the "I" and of separation does the self become free and recognize the true meaning of the world as an expression of undivided truth.
